Wide Pine Flooring
Allowing pine to dry naturally is essential to how pine performs once installed. It's the reason why we don't rush the process. "Curing" pine is much better than "drying" pine.
Our Pine is air dried for a minimum of 90 days and up to one year. It is then kiln dried to equalize the moisture content and set the pitch. This allows for a much more stable floor, preventing cupping and twisting, something we have been doing since we started producing our "Old Growth" Wide Pine.

Wide Pine Flooring
Our sawmill manufactures Eastern White Pine boards that are graded to NELMA Standards. Once cured, our boards are straight line ripped to insure that every board is perfectly straight, surfaced on two sides to proof the grade, and then molded to provide an offset tongue and groove edge profile. All boards can also be produced with a square edge or shiplap edge profile.
All our plank flooring is produced in widths from 4" to 20", is graded twice at the sawmill and three more times before it is packaged to the customer's specifications.
